Riyadh – Mubasher: The United International Transportation Company (Budget Saudi) has detected a cybersecurity incident that resulted in unauthorized access to a limited portion of the data of certain customers through the company’s app.

The group immediately activated its approved cybersecurity protocols and implemented the necessary technical measures to contain the breach and mitigate its potential impact, according to a bourse disclosure.

It also launched a comprehensive verification and technical assessment process in coordination with the relevant authorities to investigate the breach.

Budget Saudi further confirmed that the incident did not compromise any financial or banking information relating to customers or the company itself. There has been no financial or operational impact on its business activities, and all of its operations and systems continue to function normally without any disruption.

Meanwhile, the company is continuing its technical examinations and investigations to fully assess the incident and said it will disclose any material developments in accordance with applicable regulations and reporting requirements.

In the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, Budget Saudi logged net profits valued at SAR 34.45 million, down 58.37% year-on-year (YoY) from SAR 82.76 million.
